With this in mind, when Mozilla made the decision to switch to an HTML5 parser, we decided to go with a new parser entirely. Henri Sivonen was kind enough to figure out how to hook his existing implementation up to Gecko (including an automatic translation from Java to C++). We were able to switch over to this new parser for everything except parsing the magical about:blank page. Henri has been working on fixing that; however, in the meantime, we’ve been schlepping the old code around with us. The other day, I decided to remove the parts of the old parser that were no longer useful to its remaining use (that is, everything that didn’t simply output a blank document).
Starting with tomorrow’s Firefox 26 nightly build (or the day after, depending on how merges and build go), this whole process will instead be triggered when an <input type=password> is appended to the DOM — be it from loading static HTML, or when the page dynamically adds one later. This means password manager can skip processing most page loads (i.e., the ones without password fields). It also means it can now fill in logins on some sites that it couldn’t before.
Visto che lo stanno lanciando da mesi ,qualcuno è riuscito a capire quando di fatto saranno acquistabili per il pubblico "normale" ?
Web app testing-as-a-service company Sauce Labs has released its latest browser crash data, and remarkably enough, the least stable web browser today probably isn't the one you think it is.
LeechBlock is a simple productivity tool designed to block those time-wasting sites that can suck the life out of your working day. (You know: the ones that rhyme with "Blue Cube", "Space Hook", "Sticky Media", "Quitter", and the like.) All you need to do is specify which sites to block and when to block them. You can specify up to six sets of sites to block, with different times and days for each set. You can block sites within fixed time periods (e.g., between 9am and 5pm), after a time limit (e.g., 10 minutes in every hour), or with a combination of time periods and time limit (e.g., 10 minutes in every hour between 9am and 5pm). You can also set a password for access to the extension options, just to slow you down in moments of weakness! The sites to block can be specified using wildcards (e.g., *.somesite.com) and exceptions (e.g., +allowme.somesite.com).LeechBlock also keeps track of the total amount of time you have spent browsing the sites in each block set.
