I've just checked in the media data cache to Gecko trunk. It should appear in nightly builds tonight and on the 1.9.1 branch soon-ish. If you just can't wait to try it, there are try-server builds for Linux, Mac and Windows.

As you can see in our CEO's comments on the TechCrunch post about Flock moving to Chromium, we have no plans to do this at this time. We always investigate new technologies, but right now the technology we are using is the Gecko engine that powers Firefox. Flock 2.1 will be built off of this, and there are no plans otherwise at this time.
One of the pieces of feedback in our recent survey was that add-on developers really wanted to remove the login requirement for experimental add-ons. So we did it.
As in previous year, Webware has announced the finalists for their Webware 100 award in 10 web related categories. Firefox has been nominated in the Browsing category, but this year it is not the only Mozilla product in the category: Camino, the Mac OS X native Mozilla-based browser, and Ubiquity, Mozilla Labs’ experimental command line interface are also nominated.
