Colgo l'occasione per inserirmi in questo post, visto che anche a me si è parzialmente bloccato Thunderbird dopo l'aggiornamento alla ver. 14.
Già dal primo avvio è accaduto che, nell'elenco dei messaggi visualizzati, quando ne seleziono uno per vederne il contenuto questo non viene visualizzato nell'apposito riquadro, come se non lo avessi selezionato.
Ho provato anche a reinstallare la ver. 13 ma il problema persiste.
I dati della mia macchina:
** S.O.: Windows 7 64 Ultimate
** Avira Antivirus ver. 12
** Firewall Windows disattivato
** account IMAP su Gmail + account PEC
Dalla consolle degli errori riporto il seguente:

Incompatibile" ho verificato (mediante disinstallazione/reinstallazione) che non influiscono sul problema in questione:
