@flod: qualche tempo fa io e michro ci trovammo a localizzare su SUMO le pagine relative all'installazione di Firefox. In una di queste sostituii il link

http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/system-requirements.html

relativo ai requisiti di sistema con questo

http://www.mozilla-europe.org/it/firefox/system-requirements

perché ovviamente era in italiano. A un certo punto Chris Ilias mi corresse la pagina cambiando il link e mettendoci quello originale. Lì per lì' mi dimenticai di approfondire la cosa, ma ieri mi è tornata in mente rileggendo casualmente un articolo.
Quindi ho aperto un thread nel forum dei collaboratori di SUMO.

That's fine. The reason why we use http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/system-requirements.html rather than http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/system-requirements.html is so that it will fall back to the visitor's locale, and so translators don't have to translate the URL.

I've just talked with Reed about this. Right now, there is no http://www.mozilla.com/it/firefox/system-requirements.html, which is why it falls back to en-US. But locales can set up redirects to www.mozilla-europe.org. So I think the Italian team should file a www.mozilla.com bug to get the Italian fallback working on www.mozilla.com.

Quindi ti chiedo di spiegarmi come aprire il relativo bug (se non vuoi farlo tu) in modo che le informazioni per i poveri utenti italiani siano in italiano

Provo io ad aprire il bug e ti metto in cc. Il problema mi sembra comunque piuttosto strano: se provo a impostare la lingua sul francese in about:config, mi becco comunque un redirect sbagliato. Per sicurezza metto anche Pascal in cc.

Reed dovrebbe essere "Reed Loden" (system administrator) e non "Paul Reed" (build engineer)
